Heath is a dynamic and visionary leader with more than 25 years of experience in the health and human service world. With a proven track record in stakeholder-driven strategic planning, fostering organizational growth through funding and partnership diversification, and driving innovation to enhance service delivery that aligns with organizational goals, Heath is regularly recognized for his exceptional leadership in business line development and expansion, enterprise level risk mitigation, and board governance and development. He is widely regarded as a trusted thought partner and sought after adviser to large- and medium- sized- Health, Behavioral Health, Substance Use, and Intellectual and Developmental Disability provider organizations.
Prior to Ingenuity, Heath served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Andrus, where he led initiatives that expanded and modernized the trauma informed global brand of a $50M, 95-year-old family legacy health and human service organization. He raised $9.7M in government support for program enhancements, capital improvements, and elevated individual giving results by >15%. As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Community Health Systems at SCO Family Services, Heath spearheaded a $270M human service organization’s transformation into one value-driven, integrated system of care and secured $43M in government support for program enhancements and capital improvements.
Heath also held leadership positions at The Shield Institute and the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services. His expertise and dedication have earned him roles on numerous boards, including the New York State Coalition for Children’s Behavioral Health, the Council of Family and Child Caring Agencies, the YMCA of Greater New York, and the Asian American Behavioral Health Coalition. He has also provided strategic counsel to organizations such as the Korean American Behavioral Health Organization and many others. Heath holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) from Northeastern University, a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from New York University, and is a licensed clinical social worker.
